The ESAGCS Founders Scholarship is dedicated to those founding members of our association who had the vision to create an association based on the free exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of golf course management, and doing so in the relaxed and friendly way that is indicative of life here on the Eastern Shore. The Drew Smith Scholarship is in memory of an ESAGCS member driven by his love and passion for the game and the golf industry.
To be eligible for both scholarships, the applicant must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited College or University Golf Course Management program, and must be sponsored by an ESAGCS member. The amount awarded for The Founders' Scholarship depends on the number of applications received in a given year. However, there will be only one recipient of The Drew Smith Memorial Scholarship. Completed forms must be received no later than July 18, 2007..
